From: Building a second brain (blinkist)
How can you avoid this problem? Well, you don’t just want to save knowledge, but save knowledge in a way that it’s accessible and relevant when you next come across it. The irony is, the better you get at capturing and organizing, the less discoverable all your information becomes.
There’s an old Chinese proverb that goes something like this: If you want to get knowledge, add something every day. If you want to achieve wisdom, subtract something every day.
